This is the door to the birthplace and childhood home of Mary Rieff Cominoli. At that time she lived in Prussia but now it is Colmar, France.

This door led to one of the many apartments located in a row house on a street called Sentier Du Thannaeckerie. The street on which this two story apartment building was located was essentially nothing more than a unpaved footpath.

This photograph was taken by E. A. Umlah while vacationing with Barbara (Babs) Cominoli in September, 1993.

While on a return visit during a European vacation in September of 1995, it was discovered that this building had been demolished and the lot currently remains as an undeveloped site.
