Police report that 4 year old Ethan S. stole a golf cart, took it for a joy ride, and proceeded to weave in and out of traffic until coming to a spectacular conclusion, crashing the golf cart into a wall. The police say there were no injuries, but he startled bystanders and property was damaged. Yes, Ethan ran off, operated a golf cart without permission, and took it for a spin and ran it into a wall. Yikes! Poor kid scared the crap out of us and himself.
For our vacation to Jay and Becka’s in Virginia, I was given strict instructions to relax and to not do any work. I wasn’t suppose to even pick up a screwdriver. Unfortunately Hurricane Irene decided to make an unwelcomed visit to Hampton Roads.
Several large pine branches hung over Jay and Becks’s house and posed a real threat to snap off and do some roof damage. So after few hours of effort using my lumberjack skills under the watchful supervisor of Barb, Becka and one of their elderly neighbors, the branch threat was eliminated. AND without even picking up a screwdriver!
