Thanks to everyone of you who made our week long fourth of July trip really awesome!! We had a blast seeing the sights, “rafting“, and all the parties. Next year we need to pass the collection plate around for Ryan so he doesn’t get his posterior handed to him by the neighbors in the fireworks throw down. And maybe NEXT year we can make it to the ziplines…. RYAN.
So July 3rd was a big day for Jay and me – Jack and Barb went all out and threw us a joint engagement party before our upcoming wedding on August 27th, complete with a “who’s got the better fireworks?” competition between Ryan and the neighbors. It was so wonderful for me to be able to finally put faces to names and get to know the family members I’d been hearing about! I know Jay and Brit were happy and excited to see everyone who came as well. Great thanks to everyone who came and sent us good wishes, and especially to our gracious hosts, whom I am very, very, very happy and lucky to now have as family :)
